Enabling AI Assist option allows results accessible for SearchAI Assist functionalities. This enables it to analyze, compare, and address enquiries related to the content of the documents. The following image shows SearchAI Assist button to all the search results.

Prerequisite:

• Download and install SearchBlox Service
• Create, configure and index a Rag Enabled Collection.
• Navigate to Hybrid-Search Plugin or SearchAI Assist Plugin

Steps to Use AI Assist

To enable AI Assist on search page follow the following steps.

1. Navigate to https://localhos:8443/hybrid-search/index.html or AI Assist Plugin, that is https://localhost:8443/plugins/searchai-assist/index.html

   

2. In Hybrid-Search Plugin go to Plugin Settings at right side of the page and use toggle to choose AI Assist
   NOTE: If SearchAI Assist plugin used ignore this step.

   

3. Start searching, SearchAI Assist will appear for each search results as show in the image.

   

4. To perform functions such as summarize, compare, or other custom prompts on URLs, click the SearchAI Assist button for two or more URLs as shown in the image. After selecting the URLs, a pop-up box containing the selected URLs will appear in the corner of the search page.

   

5. After selecting the URLs, click Proceed. A pop-up box displaying the selected URLs and the available functionalities will appear, as shown in the image. The user can perform Summarize, Compare, or other Custom operations based on prompts.

   

6. Summarize the selected URLs by clicking Summarize button, in response the summarization of selected URLs can be shown.

   

7. Compare the selected URLs by clicking Compare button, in response the comparison of selected URLs can be shown.

   

8. By using Custom option different operations can be performed based on custom prompts.
