High Availability Architecture

SearchBlox Cluster Mode includes an Index Server and 2 Search Servers. The Index Server synchronizes search indices in multiple instances of Search Servers across numerous physical or virtual machines. The Index Server provides the ability for continuous crawling of data sources while the Search Servers provides an always ON search service. Your data is always replicated on multiple servers.

SearchBlox provides Caddy for a Load Balancer as a built-in option for distributing traffic between the search servers. Any load balancer like F5 Networks, Citrix ADC or NGINX can be used with SearchBlox.

SearchBlox 'Query Cache' setting will enhance search performance for frequently searched queries.
