Analytics
The Analytics page contains data related to searches performed. Analytics section details are displayed based on data stored on OpenSearch.
Analytics Dashboard
The Analytics section of the Admin page provides a report on the searches made so far in SearchBlox across all collections. The report is displayed as a dashboard, which can be exported to a CSV or excel file or download URL.
View Analytics
In the Analytics Dashboard you can view the following items:
- Total Searches
- Zero Result Searches
- Result Clicks
- Suggestion Clicks
- Featured Results Clicks
- Graph based on Date Vs Count
- Top Searches
- Zero Results list
- Top Suggestion Clicks
- Top Search Results Clicks
- Total Featured Results Clicks
You can also select the time frame for the reports using the options in the top right corner of the dashboard.
Purge data
This will permanently deleting or removing unnecessary or outdated data from a database. The purged data cannot be retrieved once done.
Download Query Logs Report
Using Analytics you can compare the results as shown in the following screenshots and download query logs for
- Today
- Yesterday
- This Week
- Last Week
- This Month
- Last Month
Using the 'compare' button you can have four key comparison options to analyze activities over time.
- Preceding period - matches the exact days of the week from the preceding period.
- Same period last year - current selected period to the same period from the previous year, matching the days of the week.
- Preceding period - selected period to the immediately preceding period, without considering the day of the week. It is a straight sequential comparison.
- Same period last year - similar to the "Same Period Last Year" but does not match the days of the week. It simply compares the same date range in the prior year.
For the Customizable period also query logs can be downloaded as shown in the screenshot below.
SearchBlox provides 2 ways to share the report:
- Share link - Link can be copied and shared.
- Download File - Reports can be downloaded either in PDF or CSV Format
